The central square of the Old Town in Gryfice, a former market square of 84 by 80 m, rebuilt in 2010.
Plac Zwycięstwa is the central part of the layout of the Old Town in Gryfice and at the same time an urban public space. Until August 2010 it was defined by a rectangular market square measuring 84 by 80 m.
In August 2010 the rebuilding of the square began, carried out as part of the third stage of the revitalisation of Gryfice. The aim was to raise the representative and display qualities of the town centre. The square was opened to use on 19 November 2010.
By the square are the seats of the county office, the tax office and the town office, and other institutions. On the west runs Niepodległości Street, on the east Wojska Polskiego Street. Right next to it stands the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the surviving elements of the fortifications include the Stone Gate.
