Da capo - Mateusz Nagórski

Mateusz Nagórski will perform at Jazzment Klub in Szczecin with his solo program “Da capo.” It features brand-new songs set to poems by Jacek Kaczmarski, which the poet himself never sang or set to music. The concert has two parts. In the first, the artist will present a dozen or so new songs about life, death, and love, reflecting on the cyclical nature of the world and human fate. After the intermission, he will sing a selection of Kaczmarski's older songs, along with his own earlier compositions based on the poet's work. After the concert there will be a meet-and-greet where you can buy records by Mateusz Nagórski and the duo Nagórski / Wośko. The latest album, “Powtórka z Odysei,” is a recording of the concert held on 22 March 2025 at Jazz Club “Pod Filarami.” The album featuring the “Da Capo” program is in preparation.
