The ballet “The Nutcracker”, long associated with Christmas, is coming to Filharmonia Koszalińska, performed by International Grand Ballet. The company is performing in Poland for the first time, and the artistic vision of the production is created by artistic director Jakub Majewski.
The story follows a girl who, on Christmas Eve, travels into a world of dreams, where the title character becomes a prince and she becomes his princess. The performance features the Sugar Plum Fairy, Arabian, Chinese, Trepak and Waltz of the Flowers dances.
The company includes dancers from Europe, Asia and both Americas.
