“Train to Classics – Journey Around the World” is an interactive show that its creators describe simply: it's not a concert, it's a journey. The audience sets off on a musical tour in which every stop brings a different rhythm and mood. The first stops are the Balkans and the oriental sounds of Asia and the Far East, where classical music meets operetta. Next come South America, old Hollywood with musicals and film music, and the rhythms of Africa. On the return leg, the program covers operatic emotion, Spain, Italy and France, and the whole journey ends in Vienna. Singers and dancers accompany the trip, and the orchestra, known as the Train's crew, sets the tempo. The guide is a passenger named First Class Music Lover, who talks about the music and helps blur the line between stage and audience. Music, dance, storytelling, humor and interaction come together as one story.
