Smokie perform their “The Legacy Tour” show on April 23, 2027, at 7:00 PM at Enea Arena in Szczecin. Over four decades, in the 1970s, 80s, 90s, and today, the band has sold out concert tours and earned platinum records. According to the Guinness Book of Records, 11 of their 14 British hits came in the 1970s. Their success also extended to Scandinavia, South Africa, Germany, and China.
Smokie first came together at a school in Yorkshire in the late 1960s. After changing names and styles, they signed with Mickie Most's RAK label. The songs “If You Think You Know How To Love Me,” “Don't Play Your Rock'n'Roll To Me,” “It's Your Life,” and “Oh Carol” reached the Top 10. The band has sold over 30 million records worldwide. In 1997, they recorded the album “Wild Horses” in Nashville. The albums “Uncovered” and “Uncovered Too” reached the top 5 in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden and earned double platinum status.
After the departure of Terry Uttley, the band's founder, the lineup was joined by Pete Lincoln, a former member of The Sweet, and Luke Bullard, son of Martin Bullard, who replaced Uttley on bass and backing vocals.
