“The Sleeping Beauty” by the Royal Classical Ballet, directed by Marcin Rolczyński, is a ballet set to music by Piotr Czajkowski, presented at Filharmonia Koszalińska.
The story follows Princess Aurora. The wicked fairy Carabosse casts a curse on her during a celebration, and on her birthday the princess pricks herself on a spindle and falls asleep, along with the entire palace. Breaking the spell requires courage, goodness, and true love.
The production features classical choreography, spectacular costumes, delicate lyrical scenes, demanding solo roles, and elaborate ensemble numbers. The organizers recommend it for the whole family.
