The Old Town market square in Police, with a Gothic chapel, a fountain with a figure of Sedina and a monument to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, and the start of the Police PTTK trail.
Bolesław Chrobry Square is the market square and the main part of the Old Town in Police. Before 1945 it was called Markt, and in 1946 it received its present name. The Police PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society) trail begins here.
The oldest structure is a Gothic chapel from the 15th century, a remnant of the St Mary's church from the 13th century that has not survived (Gothic Chapel in Police). On the square there is also a fountain with a figure of Sedina, designed by Mieczysław Gliba. In the eastern frontage, on Wojska Polskiego Street, stands a monument to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, funded by the residents of Szczecin County on the 100th anniversary of her birth, in 1967.
The eastern frontage and part of the northern frontage of the square were not rebuilt after the war. The south-western corner is formed by buildings from the communist period. Five roads meet on the square, leading among others towards Jasienica, Trzebież and Nowe Warpno, to Szczecin, and to the northern part of the Old Town with a sailing marina.
