A stone filial church from the second half of the 13th century in Garnowo, rebuilt in 1989-1990.
The church in Garnowo, in Chojna municipality, is a stone filial church of the parish of the Holy Cross in Nawodna, built in the second half of the 13th century and entered in the heritage register.
The church is a hall church, built of erratic boulders, on a rectangular plan. The tower was added at a later period. The entrance is on the west side, and in the south wall a trace of an earlier walled-up portal can be seen. In the east wall there are two window openings, and its gable is decorated with pointed-arch blind arcades. The windows in the side walls were rebuilt and widened. The interior is covered by a wooden ceiling, and above the entrance there is a gallery supported on posts.
In 1945 the church was hit by two artillery shells. It was rebuilt in 1989-1990, and the consecration took place on 13 June 1991.
Chojna is about six kilometres from here, where, among others, there is the town hall.
