A parish church in Dębno built in 1983-1994, with a foundation stone from the Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth.
The Church of Our Lady of Fatima in Dębno is a modern parish church, built from 1983 on Harcerska Street. The parish took over the role of the former parish of St Anthony, which had been active for more than sixty years.
The bishop's consent to build a new church was given in 1980, and the state decision on 11 March 1981. The foundation stone, blessed on 7 October 1984, comes from the Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth. In 1989 a copy of the figure of Our Lady of Fatima crowned by John Paul II on the Jasne Błonia (the Bright Meadows) was given to Dębno. The original dedication was to Our Lady of the Rosary. Three bells, including “Pani Fatimska” (Our Lady of Fatima), were blessed in 1990-1991. The consecration took place on 11 June 1994, and in 2000 the Chapel of Divine Mercy was blessed.
