Late Gothic branch church in Pomień from the 15th century, rebuilt in 1696 after destruction by the Swedes, with a gravestone of 1796.
The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Pomień, a branch of the parish in Recz, is a late Gothic building of the 15th century, built of granite boulders on a rectangular plan. During the Thirty Years' War, after the Swedes set fire to the village, the church was almost completely destroyed, and it was rebuilt in 1696.
A massive square tower adjoins it on the west side. The east gable and the tower façade are decorated with blind niches, and the windows, re-walled in the 17th century, have semicircular arches. The interior with a beamed ceiling ends in the plain wall of the chancel. The gravestone of Anna Luiza Diliana Puttkamer of 1796 has survived. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 15 August 1946.
