A Modernist filial church of 1936, built in a former manor park, with a wooden gallery and original stained glass.
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Giżyn was built in 1936 on the site of a former manor park, on the initiative of the local Catholic community. It is a building in the Modernist style, which is a rarity among the village churches of the region.
The church is of plastered brick, on a rectangular plan. The windows of the nave have round arches. On the west is a rectangular porch with an oculus above it, a sacristy was added to the north wall, and by the east gable stands a bell tower topped with a cross.
On the west wall is a wooden gallery supported on posts. The original stained-glass windows with geometric motifs have survived. After the Second World War, on 5 May 1948, the church was consecrated. It belongs to the parish of Our Lady Queen of Poland in Nowogródek Pomorski, whose church can be seen in Nowogródek Pomorski.
