A branch church from 1909, with granite ashlar in the lower part of the walls, probably from an older church.
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross stands in the village of Grabowo in Łobez municipality and is a branch church of the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Łobez. It was built in 1909.
This is a masonry church on a rectangular plan, with a sacristy and a square tower set into the body. The nave has a gable roof and a wooden barrel ceiling. The walls are plastered, but the lower part, up to about one third of the height, is built of granite ashlar. It probably comes from an earlier church that stood on the same site. According to Wikipedia, the tower has an opening in the shape of a cross, which is at the same time the central part of the chancel. Above the entrance, in a small vestibule with a three-pitch roof, runs a choir gallery with an organ case.
After the Second World War the church was at first unused. During this time the Gothic triptych that once stood inside, and which the researcher Hugo Lemcke mentioned, disappeared. It was consecrated on 24 June 1978 by Bishop Jerzy Stroba.
