A church of unplastered brick in Dębno, built in 1932-1933, with an altar bearing a wooden figure of St Anthony.
The Church of St Anthony in Dębno, on today's Pułaskiego Street, was built in 1932-1933, and the heritage register classes it as modernist, although Wikipedia describes it as neo-Gothic. It was built of unplastered brick. Today it is an auxiliary church of the parish of Our Lady of Fatima.
A plot of 23.75 ares at Am Mühlengraben was bought in May 1930, and the church was designed for 300 people. The building work was led by a curate and carried out by a building firm from Dębno. Groundwork began in September 1932, in April 1933 the shell stood under its roof, and the consecration took place on 25 June 1933; a parish was established at the church at that time.
The building measures 16.62 by 8 m and has a gabled roof, and through small halls it is joined to the presbytery. The interior has a raised, boarded ceiling, and the chancel is separated by a chancel arch. Above the altar, by the west wall, stands a wooden figure of St Anthony of Padua holding the Child.
Dębno also has the Church of Our Lady of Fatima.
