A small filial church in Żółwia Błoć with pre-war stained glass, Neo-Gothic pews and a relief of the Last Supper.
The church in Żółwia Błoć, a village in Goleniów municipality, is a small church from the early 20th century, a filial church of the parish in Krępsko. It is plain on the outside, and the interior has kept pre-war stained glass and Neo-Gothic pews.
The church stands on a rectangular plan and has a gabled roof covered with ceramic tiles, with a small bell turret on the ridge. The walls are plastered and the windows have pointed arches. A single-storey dwelling house adjoins the building. The dating is not clear-cut: Wikipedia gives the year 1920, and another source 1932.
Inside, the original Neo-Gothic pews have survived. In the chancel stands a wooden lectern and an altar table with a relief of the Last Supper, and above the altar hangs a painting of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn. The stained glass in the chancel shows Eucharistic symbols: the Lamb of God and the chalice. It was blessed as a Catholic church on 13 June 1946.
