A church rebuilt in 1991-1995 as a faithful reconstruction of the Neo-Baroque church of 1908-1909 destroyed during the Second World War.
The Church of St Barbara in Bielinek, in Cedynia municipality, is a modern reconstruction. The former church was destroyed during the Second World War, and the present one was built in 1991-1995 on the surviving foundations, to a design by the engineer Walenty Zaborowski. It belongs to the parish in Krajnik Górny.
The destroyed church was built in 1908-1909 on the site of an earlier, half-timbered one. The rebuilding in the 1990s took place with the support of the local gravel pit. On the wall of the church hangs a plaque dedicated to Czesław Szóstakiewicz, the initiator of the rebuilding.
The body is in Neo-Baroque forms and has the plan of a polygon with a three-sided chancel. The windows in the nave and the entrance portals are closed with round arches. On the south adjoins a four-sided tower with a spire topped with a ball and a cross, with round-arched windows and louvred sound openings.
About a kilometre and a half from here lies the Bielinek nature reserve, and in Cedynia the Regional Museum.
