A neo-Gothic church from 1883 with three Gothic sculptures from the early 16th century and a bell from 1510.
The Church of St John the Baptist in Czartoryja, in Chojna municipality, was built in 1883. It is a branch church of the parish of St Anthony of Padua in Brwice, neo-Gothic, with a single nave, built of brick.
On the east side the nave is closed by a lower, polygonal chancel, and on the west side a square bell tower adjoins it. The interior is covered by a light wooden ceiling, and the chancel has a cross-rib vault separated from the nave by a chancel arch. Above the entrance is a gallery.
The church holds three Gothic sculptures from the early 16th century: the Madonna and Child, St Anne with the Virgin and Child, and St Catherine of Alexandria. The furnishings also include a Rococo prie-dieu from the 18th century and 19th-century pews, and a bell from 1510 hangs in the tower. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic one on 3 May 1953. It is on the municipal and voivodeship lists of historic monuments and is proposed for entry in the heritage register.
