Neo-Gothic church in Trzebiatów of 1904, built for the Old Lutherans, with a 35-metre tower, since 1950 a branch of the Evangelical Augsburg parish of the Holy Trinity in Szczecin.
St John's Church in Trzebiatów is a neo-Gothic church from the early 20th century. Its form resembles a single-storey residential building with a steep roof, and from its middle part rises a slender tower thirty-five metres high.
The church was built in 1904 on the site of an earlier church that had existed since 1850, and was consecrated on 17 September 1905. It originally belonged to the Trzebiatów parish of the Old Lutheran Church in Prussia, founded in 1849. Two bells hang in the tower, cast in 1931 by Franz Schilling of Apolda near Weimar.
After the Second World War the church served Catholics for a time: it was consecrated in the Latin rite on 15 September 1945, under the dedication of the Transfiguration of the Lord, and sisters of the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Blessed Virgin Mary worked at the church. Since 17 July 1950 it has been a branch of the Evangelical Augsburg parish of the Holy Trinity in Szczecin.
Only a hundred metres away stands St Gertrude's Chapel, and about three hundred metres from the church the Kaszana Tower.
