A neo-Gothic branch church from the 19th century with a Baroque pulpit from the second half of the 18th century and a bell from 1575.
The Church of St Joseph in Rurka, in Chojna municipality, is a branch church of the parish of the Holy Trinity in Chojna. It was built in the 19th century of brick, in neo-Gothic style.
The church stands on a rectangular plan and ends in a separate chancel in the form of a five-sided apse. The nave has a gable roof with a pinnacle, and the windows in the body are closed with pointed arches. On the west side adjoins a square, three-storey tower with a sheet-metal spire, with the entrance portal on its ground floor.
The nave is covered by a boarded ceiling, and above the chancel there is a cross-rib vault. The older elements include a Baroque pulpit from the second half of the 18th century with a geometric ornament and an 18th-century font converted into a holy water stoup. A bell from 1575 hangs in the tower. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic one on 19 March 1946.
