A half-timbered church from the 16th century with a Baroque half-timbered tower and a pulpit altar from 1725.
St Adalbert's Church in Dyszno, in Dębno municipality, is a half-timbered church from the 16th century with a Baroque half-timbered tower. Inside, a pulpit altar from 1725 has survived, with sculptures by Heinrich Bernhard Hattenkerell.
The church is a hall church on a rectangular plan. On the west side stands a square Baroque half-timbered tower, added in the 18th century. In 1900 a third, wooden stage with a conical spire covered in slate was added on top of it. The tower windows have rich surrounds. Historic bells hang in the tower, one of which dates from 1545.
Inside is a polychrome, gilded pulpit altar from 1725, an original ceiling with moulded beams and a gravestone of the von Schönebeck family from 1551. On the altar wall are modern frescoes that echo the Gniezno Doors in form and subject. The church was badly damaged in 1945 and rebuilt in 1968 to 1975, and it was consecrated as a Roman Catholic church on 18 January 1948. During renovation in 2010 a tube containing a document from 1900 and 44 coins from 1668 to 1900 was found in the ball beneath the cross on the tower.
