A 16th-century stone church with a Baroque altar of 1610 founded by the Wedel family.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dominikowo, a village in Drawno municipality in Choszczno County, was built of stone in the 16th century as a Protestant church. Today it is a filial church of the parish in Barnim. Its most valuable feature is the Baroque altar of 1610.
The church is an oriented hall building on a rectangular plan, with a gabled roof and an east gable decorated with paired blind arches. At the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries a half-timbered porch was added on the south, and on the west a tower, whose lower part is half-timbered and the upper wooden, under a hipped roof.
Inside, under the wooden ceiling, stands a Baroque altar of 1610, founded by the Wedel family of Drawno and made in a workshop in Frankfurt am Main. A 16th-century pulpit and two altar candlesticks of 1666 have also survived. It was blessed as a Catholic church on 1 October 1945.
