A brick neo-Gothic Protestant church, Roman Catholic since 1945, with an epitaph showing an earlier wooden church.
The neo-Gothic church in Pałowo, a village in Postomino municipality, was built of brick as a Protestant church. Today it is a Roman Catholic branch church dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The first Catholic Mass was held here after its consecration on 1 September 1945.
Wikipedia states that the church was built in the first half of the 19th century, while the heritage register dates it to the end of the 19th century. In the attic an epitaph of the Schültze Brothers was found, from which it follows that a wooden church from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries stood here earlier.
The building is listed in the heritage register (number A-359, entered in 1998). Several distinctive half-timbered buildings have also survived in the village, which can be seen on a walk.
