Peace Trail

The Peace Trail is a blue walking trail in Szczecin and Police municipality. It leads through the southern part of Wkrzańska Forest, from Szczecin-Głębokie through Osów, past the Bogusław Oak and through Leśno Górne and Sierakowo to the village of Pilchowo.

Route and surroundings

The trail links the forest estates of Szczecin with the villages of Police municipality, so it begins in the city and ends in a village. The monumental Bogusław Oak is the most striking point on the way. From the route it is close to the Quistorp Tower (about 3 km from the middle of the trail). Wkrzańska Forest is an important place of weekend recreation for residents of the Szczecin agglomeration and has a dense network of waymarked trails, so the Peace Trail is easy to combine with shorter routes, for example the black Komorze Góry Trail.

Practical information

• Waymarks: a blue stripe on a white field, length about 12 km.
• The route is not a loop, so plan the return from Pilchowo by public transport.
• Admission is free.
