A section of the E9 European long-distance walking path in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship: the Coastal Trail from Świnoujście to Jarosławiec.
The E9 European walking path is one of 11 waymarked European long-distance trails, about 4500 km long, of which 706.1 km runs through Poland. In Poland it begins in Świnoujście on the border with Germany and along the whole of its initial section it follows the Coastal Trail. Only the part in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship is described below, that is, from Świnoujście to Jarosławiec.
According to the description of the route, the E9 runs along the coast through Świnoujście, Międzyzdroje, Dziwnów, Dziwnówek, Łukęcin, Pobierowo and Pustkowo. It then passes Trzęsacz, Rewal and Niechorze, followed by Lędzin, Trzebiatów, Mrzeżyno, Dźwirzyno and Kołobrzeg.
On the next section the trail leads through Ustronie Morskie, Gąski, Chłopy, Mielno and Darłowo with Darłówko, and in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship it ends in Jarosławiec. Further on, already in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, it leads through Ustka, Rowy and Łeba.
The description of the trail lists five lighthouses along the route: Kikut, Niechorze, Gąski, Darłowo and Jarosławiec. Near the trail also lies Trzęsacz, known for the ruins of a church standing on the edge of a cliff.
