Police Trail

The Police Trail is a yellow walking trail about 11 km long, leading through Police, Trzeszczyn, Stare Leśno and Bartoszewo on the edge of Wkrzańska Forest. The route: Police (Old Town), Police (New Town), Trzeszczyn, Stare Leśno, Bartoszewo.

What it passes

At the beginning, on Chrobry Square in the Old Town, stands a Gothic chapel of the 15th century, a remnant of a 13th-century St Mary's church. In Trzeszczyn there is a memorial to the victims of fascism from 1967, and beside the route lies also the former synthetic petrol plant (about 3 km). Pine dominates in the forest, and in Bartoszewo lies Lake Bartoszewo.

• Waymarks: a yellow stripe on a white field.
• Start at Chrobry Square in Police, next to the station and bus stops.
• Bus line 103 goes to Bartoszewo (check the timetable with the operator).
