Walerian Pawłowski Square in Szczecin

Walerian Pawłowski Square is a square in Szczecin's Pogodno, surrounded by houses of varied architecture. It is an important meeting place for the residents of the estate and the setting for recurring events, organised among others by the Pogodno Neighbourhood Council.

The shell, playground and court

The square also serves for leisure. On it stand a concert shell, built in 2014, a playground and an outdoor gym. In August 2025, on the initiative and from the budget of the Pogodno Neighbourhood Council, a 3-on-3 basketball court was built here.

Events

• Every year a concert in memory of Walerian Pawłowski takes place on the music stage, in which musicians from the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic play. The tradition has lasted since 2010.
• Several times a year the Flea Market is held here, described as the largest in Szczecin.
• An Easter fair and a Christmas fair are organised every year.
