Budka Suflera is a Polish rock band founded in Lublin in 1974 by Krzysztof Cugowski and Romuald Lipka. At the Filharmonia im. Mieczysława Karłowicza, the band will perform its best-known hits, including “Sen o dolinie,” “Za ostatni grosz,” “Jolka Jolka, pamiętasz,” “Takie Tango,” and “Bal wszystkich Świętych.”
The lineup has changed many times, and more than 25 musicians have passed through the band. Drummer Tomasz Zeliszewski has played in every lineup since 1975. After the death of Romuald Lipka (d. 2020), he also became the band's manager and leader. He is the only member who has recorded all of the albums. The band has won Fryderyki awards in the “Band of the Year” and “Song of the Year” categories, the latter for “Takie Tango.” In 2002, it received the Super Jedynka award for “Bal wszystkich Świętych.”
