The play “Being a Woman, or The Follies of Mature Youth” is a comedy combining elements of cabaret, musical and farce. Six women of mature age come to a friend's home to celebrate her 60th birthday. The hostess lays out a lavish table, and singles, widows, mothers and wives reminisce about their youth in the face of inevitable maturity. The show brings back Polish songs from the 1970s and everyday scenes from life.
