“Bali Experience Show” is a theatrical and musical show featuring artists from the island of Bali. The programme includes dance, mythology, costumes, an exhibition and flavours of Balinese cuisine.
The performance tells the legend of the creation of Bali through movement, music and image. Beneath the sacred mountain Agung sleeps the dragon Naga Besukih, guardian of water, earth and divine treasures. The main character is Manik, son of the priest Sidi Mantra, who, driven by a desire for wealth and power, succumbs to the demonic Rangda and disrupts the order of the world. Barong, the Balinese spirit of protection and life, fights to restore balance. The story culminates in the emergence of a new island.
Figures from Balinese mythology appear on stage. Balinese tradition is combined with contemporary dance, accompanied by music played on original instruments and enriched with electronic sounds.
The event also includes an exhibition, models, decorations and traditional objects related to the cultures of various regions of Indonesia, complemented by Balinese cuisine.
