The comedy “Being a Woman, or the Follies of Mature Youth” blends the conventions of cabaret, musical and farce. Its heroines are six women of a certain age who gather at a friend's home for the 60th birthday of their friend. The hostess has prepared a lavish table, and the guests, among them singles, widows, mothers and wives, reminisce about their youth. The stage features Polish songs from the 1970s and scenes from everyday life.
