“Domestic Help” is a farce by Marc Camoletti, staged at the Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin. The performance runs for over two hours. Olga and Norbert are a married couple whose love has faded, and each seeks excitement with other people. One evening, due to an innocent lie, they both bring their lovers home.
Only Nadia, the titular housekeeper, can prevent disaster. With cleverness and scheming, she turns the night into a farce. The Polish text was translated by Bartosz Wierzbięta, translator of, among others, “Shrek”.
