The concert “From Czardas to Hit” will take place at the Pyrzycki Dom Kultury in Pyrzyce to celebrate Grandparents' Day. Don Vasyl and his Family Band will perform this jubilee show, joined by dancers in Romani dresses.
The programme features the singer's greatest hits:
Don Vasyl's grandchildren will play violin, accordion and guitar in songs from Romani gatherings: “Ore, Ore,” “Play for Me, Beautiful Gypsy,” “We Are Gypsies” and “I Knew a Gypsy Girl Zosia”. The performers will also present new compositions from their latest album.
The Don Vasyl and Roma Artistic Ensemble was founded in 1987, and its core consists of members of the Roma group, which performed around the world, including at the UN headquarters in New York and at the “Paris Olympia”. Don Vasyl has launched the careers of Romani artists, including Dziani, Wasyl Junior, Elza, Patrycja, Carmen and Tobi, so the ensemble also performs as Don Vasyl and the Gypsy Stars.
Practical information: the concert lasts 90 minutes.
