IRA - Romantically is a concert by one of the most important Polish rock bands, at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic. The band draws on many genres, so its listeners include fans of hard sounds as well as rock ballads.
IRA was formed in 1987 in Radom, and a year later it performed at the Krajowy Festiwal Piosenki Polskiej (National Festival of Polish Song) in Opole. The debut album “IRA” came out in 1989. The albums “Mój dom” (1991) and the live album “Live” secured the band a place among Poland's top rock groups. In 1996, after the release of “Ogrody”, guitarist and founder Kuba Płucisz left, and the band went on hiatus. After a seven-year break, it returned to the stage with the tour “IRA - Wracamy”.
The latest album, “Jutro”, was released in May 2021. It features the singles “W górę patrz”, “Zimowa”, “Chciałbym” and “Za późno już”.
