About this event

“Lord of the Dance - 30th Anniversary Tour” is a show that combines Irish dance, mythological storytelling and modern stagecraft. The performance takes place on 5 December 2026 at 7:30 PM at Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa w Koszalinie. The show has been presented on stages around the world for 30 years, and it conquered international audiences just one year after its premiere.

The show was created by Michael Flatley, who left Riverdance in 1995 to create something of his own. Inspired by the legends and myths of Ireland, its homeland's traditions, music and rhythm, he premiered Lord of the Dance in 1996. The show received standing ovations in Europe and the USA, millions of records were sold, and a year later it was performed at the Academy Awards ceremony.

The story of light and darkness, of good triumphing over evil, and of courage, strength and passion is told through movement and rhythm. The show's elements include synchronized dancers, choreography, music, stage design, lighting, projections and costumes.

The show is designed for audiences who know Irish dance as well as those encountering this style for the first time. Stamping on the floor emphasizes the rhythm, and the story relies on movement, music and choreography.

The stage design and equipment travel on six trucks, and assembling them takes nearly 10 hours. Almost 200 dancers have performed in the show's history, and more than 50 million viewers have seen it on every continent. Michael Flatley has three times been recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest stepdancer in the world.
