Polish Metal Alliance is a project in which Polish metal and rock musicians perform together on one stage. The concert at Dom Kultury Słowianin also features Aquilla as guests. The lineup brings together experienced artists known from their bands and a younger generation.
The concert lasts over two hours and covers various styles of rock and metal, from 1970s and 1980s hard rock and melodic heavy metal to thrash and more modern sounds. The setlist includes songs by Billy Idol, Slayer, Gary Moore, Pantera, King Diamond, and Queen, often in new arrangements.
The project was launched in 2020, during the covid-19 pandemic, by Maciej Koczorowski. He invited musicians from Vader and Nocny Kochanek, as well as Wojtek and Piotr Cugowski, among others, to collaborate. Over 20 covers posted on YouTube have been viewed by millions, featuring Krzysztof Zalewski, Jan Borysewicz, Grzegorz Skawiński, Kasia Kowalska, Małgorzata Ostrowska, and 50 other musicians. One of the recordings featured Tim Ripper Owens, who has sung with Judas Priest and Iced Earth.
