On November 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Polish Piano Trio will perform at Willa Lentza. The ensemble consists of soloists and chamber musicians associated with the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk:
The trio was formed in 2017. The musicians have performed in Poland and abroad, including in Italy, Denmark, Germany, and Chile, as well as at festivals across Poland. Their repertoire includes Polish music and works from the core piano trio repertoire. They regularly prepare manuscripts and perform pieces by lesser-known Polish composers: Michał Bergson, Karol Kątski, Aleksander Tansman, Antoni Kątski, Ludomir Różycki, and Romuald Twardowski.
The ensemble's discography includes “Simon Laks - in between” (CD Accord 2019), featuring works by Szymon Laks that had not previously been recorded in Poland or abroad, and “Forgotten pages” (DUX 2021), the first in a series of recordings of forgotten chamber works, which includes the trio's recording of Karol Kątski's Trio op. 30. The musicians have also carried out projects funded by creative grants from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
