The film “Recipe for Christmas” tells the story of Ida (Zofia Jastrzębska), a young woman who loves baking and dreams of opening her own patisserie. At the bank she meets Piotr (Piotr Stramowski), a director who is fascinated by her sense of humor and uncompromising nature.
Piotr has just found out that he has a 10-year-old son, Nikodem. The boy becomes a challenge for him and his partner Klara (Sonia Mietielica), who until now have been focused on their careers. The couple needs help with household chores, and Ida answers their ad. Amid the smell of Christmas baking, feelings come to the fore.
