Stargardzkie Centrum Kultury in Stargard hosts Rafał Rutkowski's stand-up show “Time Machine” on 15.01.2027 at 7:00 PM. It is his fourth solo program. The comedian travels through time, comparing the present with the past. He asks whether things were better before, whether we live in the best of times, whether artificial intelligence is humanity's hope or the beginning of its end, and how much technology has changed us.
Rutkowski goes back to his childhood in the People's Republic of Poland and recalls the absurdities of those years: the Fiat 126p, queues for mustard, meat ration coupons, and parties during martial law. He also talks about his first trip “to the West,” flirting long-distance with his Swedish wife, impressing a girl with aerobatic flying, and using contraception in Belarus.
Practical information: the show is intended for audiences aged 16 and over. Phones must be turned off or silenced. Audio and video recording is prohibited, and flash photography of the performers is not allowed. The organizer may remove anyone disrupting the performance without refunding the ticket price. The performance may be recorded, and ticket buyers agree to the use of their image.
