“The Four Seasons” - Antonio Vivaldi

“The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi is a cycle of four violin concertos corresponding to spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The music imitates weather phenomena: in “Spring” you can hear birdsong, in “Summer” thunderstorms, in “Autumn” melancholy and colors, and in “Winter” a creaking frost. The cycle will be performed at Pałac Ziemstwa Pomorskiego in Szczecin. According to the organizers, the interiors of palaces, historic churches, and monastery halls are well suited to highlighting the sound of the violin.
