Half-timbered Protestant church of the 18th/19th century, now a Roman Catholic parish church, with a small turret and a late Baroque altar.
The Church of Christ the King in Suliszewo is a former Protestant church, today a Roman Catholic parish church. It stands in a village near Drawsko Pomorskie and is entered in the heritage register under number 225 of 15 January 1960.
Wikipedia describes the church as half-timbered, from the 18th century, rebuilt in the 19th century, while the heritage register gives a dating to the 19th century. The building has a small turret with a slender pyramidal spire. In 1977 the framed walls were replaced with brick, and a late Baroque altar has survived inside.
Suliszewo lies about 3 km east of Drawsko Pomorskie, on national road no. 20. In Drawsko stand the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord and the town hall, so a visit is easy to combine with seeing the town. In the village a palace from the late 18th century, rebuilt around 1850 in the neo-Gothic style, is also entered in the register, as is a hillfort from the 8th-11th century.
