A Gothic church with a chancel from the 13th century, a wooden tower of 1622 and a rib vault.
The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Sadlno, a village in Trzebiatów municipality in Gryfice County, is a Gothic church of fieldstone, dressed granite and brick. The oldest part, the chancel, dates from the 13th century. Today it is a filial church of the parish in Konarzewo.
The east wall of the chancel has three Neo-Gothic windows, and the late Gothic gables of the chancel and the sacristy are decorated with blind arches. In the south-east corner mason’s marks can be seen in the form of a chequerboard of rhombuses. In the 15th century a three-aisle body was added, and in 1622 a wooden tower with a Baroque spire was added to the west elevation.
The interior has a rib vault and Neo-Gothic furnishings: an altar, pulpit, gallery, organ and pews. Beside the tower lies the stone bowl of a former font, and by the south wall of the nave a stone with a carved head, probably of a monk in a cowl. Around the church are the remains of the former cemetery with a partly preserved stone wall. It was blessed as a Catholic church on 2 February 1946.
