A half-timbered church from 1696 with a freestanding tower, a Baroque altar and a late Baroque pulpit.
The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Świeszewo was brought into use in 1696. It is a single-nave half-timbered building, founded by the Steinwehr family, and today a parish church in Gryfice municipality. The heritage register dates it to the end of the 17th century.
The church stands on a rectangular plan and has a gable roof of flat tiles. Beside it stands a freestanding two-storey tower, probably older than the church itself. Its upper part is wooden, boarded, and topped with an octagonal spire covered with slate. In 1842 the church was rebuilt.
The interior is covered with a wooden beamed ceiling. In the Baroque altar with columns and figures of angels hangs a copy of the painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa, and in the chancel stands a late Baroque pulpit with a canopy. Above the entrance is a Neoclassical gallery with a working organ case and an organ from the mid-19th century. Two bells from 1937 hang in the tower.
