A parish church in the Helenów estate in Goleniów, expanded from a chapel of 1988 and blessed in 1991.
The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help stands in the Helenów estate in Goleniów, at gen. Władysława Sikorskiego 1a. It is the seat of a parish of the same dedication in the Archdiocese of Szczecin and Kamień, and its history goes back to the end of the 1980s.
Until the late 1980s the residents of the estate attended Masses held once a week in a catechetical room by priests from the parish of St Catherine. In 1988 the estate was joined to a new parish, originally based in Podańsko, and a plot for a church was bought. The first Mass was held there on 29 May 1988 at a field altar. The chapel, to a design by the engineer Józef Wąż, was opened on 4 December 1988, and was then expanded into a full-size church, which was blessed on 29 September 1991.
The grounds around the church were fenced and planted with shrubs, and a stone grotto with a figure of Mary was built. Inside there are paintings, figures and stained glass and an Italian organ, and in the tower hangs a bell of 300 kilograms from the workshop of the Felczyński brothers.
In the centre of Goleniów stands, among others, the Church of St Catherine.
