Church of stone and brick from the end of the 15th century, with an east gable decorated with pinnacles and blind arches with rosettes, and a Maltese cross dated 1662.
The church in Witkowo Drugie is a late medieval church of stone and brick from the end of the 15th century, with an east gable decorated with pinnacles and blind arches with rosettes. On the middle pinnacle stands an iron Maltese cross with the date 1662.
It is a hall building laid out on a square plan, covered with a gable roof. The gable of the east wall is decorated with pinnacles and pointed blind arches with rosettes in the archivolts, and on the middle pinnacle is an iron Maltese cross with the date 1662. A tower with an octagonal helmet was added on the west side.
Inside, a 17th-century gallery and pews have survived, as well as a remnant of an 18th-century pulpit altar and the gravestone of Christian Lupke and his wife of 1731. The surrounding area is occupied by a former cemetery enclosed by a wall, with two late medieval gates. The church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 29 July 1945. Until the 1990s it was the parish church, and then the parish moved to the new Church of the Annunciation of the Lord in Witkowo Pierwsze and this one became a branch church.
It is about 4 kilometres from here to Stargard, where you will find the Collegiate Church of St Mary, Queen of the World and the Pyrzyce Gate.
