A 15th-century church of fieldstone and brick in Lestkowo, with a 19th-century tower and a Romanesque font.
The Church of Our Lady Queen of Poland in Lestkowo (Nowogard municipality) was built in the 15th century. It belongs to the parish of Our Lady of Fatima in Nowogard. It is an orientated single-nave building on a rectangular plan, built of fieldstone and brick, with pointed-arch windows and a gabled roof.
In the 19th century a three-storey tower was added on the west side: the two lower storeys are of stone, the third of brick, and the whole is topped with a pointed spire. The ground floor has a portal with three steps.
The interior has a wooden beam ceiling and a wooden music gallery with an organ case above the entrance. A Romanesque granite font and 19th-century pews have survived. The painting of Our Lady Queen of Poland was made in 1964 by Jadwiga Heydukowska. After the war the church was consecrated on 1 October 1946. Nearby stands the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Żabowo.
