Half-timbered branch church of 1711 with a tower of erratic boulders, a pulpit altar and 17th-century choir stalls.
The Church of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles in Stara Dobrzyca is a half-timbered church of 1711, a branch of the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Starogard. The village lies in Resko municipality in Łobez County.
The church was built in 1711 on the site of an earlier church. It is built in half-timbered construction, on a rectangular plan, with a chancel closed on three sides. In 1886 it was plastered on the outside. On the west side stands a massive tower of erratic boulders and brick, with an upper storey added in half-timbered construction and covered with a pavilion roof. The bell hanging in it was most probably cast in Kołobrzeg in 1678.
A flat wooden ceiling covers the nave. Above the entrance is a gallery, from which steps lead to the tower. An 18th-century pulpit altar with small columns and acanthus decoration has survived, together with 17th-century choir stalls. After the war, on 10 August 1946, it was consecrated as a Catholic church, and in 1997 restoration work was carried out.
