Gothic chapel from the second half of the 15th century, formerly attached to a hospital for lepers, with buttresses and a gable decorated with blind arches.
The Church of St Albert Chmielowski in Maszewo is the former Chapel of St George from the second half of the 15th century. It stood outside the town walls and belonged to a hospital for lepers. Today it is an auxiliary church of the parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa.
The Gothic chapel has a rectangular plan, a three-sided chancel and buttresses, and its west gable is decorated with blind arches. The roof is a gable roof, and the walls are plastered on the outside. At the end of the 19th century the chapel was rebuilt.
After the Second World War the chapel was unused. In 1981-1983 it was renovated as an auxiliary church, and Bishop Jan Gałecki consecrated it on 16 October 1983. The interior has a flat ceiling and a wooden music gallery on the west wall. The furnishings are entirely modern.
