18th-century half-timbered church, formerly Protestant, in Stare Resko on Lake Resko Górne; in the heritage register since 1983.
The Church of St Aloysius Gonzaga in Stare Resko is a historic church from the 18th century, formerly Protestant, now Roman Catholic. It stands in Połczyn-Zdrój municipality and has been in the heritage register since 1983.
The heritage register gives Fachwerk as the building technique, that is a timber-frame construction filled with brick, and dates the church to the 18th century. Next to the church a churchyard cemetery has survived, entered together with it among the monuments, and nearby is a manor complex with a manor house, a park and farm buildings.
Stare Resko lies on Lake Resko Górne in the Drawsko Lakeland. It was a medieval possession of the von Wedel family, part of the endowment of the Carthusians of Świdwin, and after the secularisation of the order in 1602 it became part of the state domain in Świdwin.
