A fieldstone parish church in Gościno, with a stone font from the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries.
The Church of St Andrew Bobola stands on a hill in the southern part of Gościno, on Kościelna Street. It was built of fieldstone, and inside there is a font older than the church itself.
The Wikipedia entry gives its construction in 1865 in the Neo-Romanesque style; the heritage register dates the building to 1853-1854 and describes the style as Neo-Gothic. It was blessed on 2 December 1945 and consecrated on 16 May 1989. The church is entered in the heritage register.
The most valuable item of furnishing is a stone font in the form of a chalice, carved from a single block of Gotland limestone at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. According to the entry, it is one of the few religious monuments of this kind in West Pomerania. By the church stands a memorial boulder with an inscription in memory of the residents who created the Polish character of the Gościno Land. Not far away is the park in Gościno.
