A church from the turn of the 16th century in Długołęka, with a Gothic gable, a wooden tower and a Romanesque granite font.
The Church of St Anne in Długołęka, in Nowogard municipality, was built at the turn of the 16th century. It is a parish church, and its landmark is a three-storey wooden tower on the west side.
The church was built of stone and brick on a rectangular plan, and was rebuilt at the turn of the 19th century. On the east side a Gothic gable has survived, with blind arcading and topped with pinnacles. The body has a gable roof, and the boarded tower is covered with a makeshift flat roof.
The ceiling is wooden and beamed, and above the entrance stands a wooden gallery. The church holds a granite Romanesque font, and historic chandeliers and 18th-century pews have also survived. Around it is the area of a former cemetery, fenced with a stone wall. After the war the church at first stood unused, and it was consecrated in 1954.
