A granite church of 1883 with a wooden tower, which fell into ruin after 1945 and was rebuilt in 2004-2006.
The Church of St Faustina Kowalska in Świerczewo, in Nowogard municipality, belongs to the parish of St Sylvester in Strzelewo. It is entered in the heritage register. After 1945 it fell into ruin, and in 2004-2006 it was rebuilt.
The building dates from 1883 (the heritage register gives 1833). The body, built of granite stones, stands on a rectangular plan, and the windows are closed with pointed arches. In the western part of the body a square wooden tower is set, topped with a modern octagonal metal structure with a cross. The chancel, closed with a flat wall, has two windows.
The rebuilding, to a design by the engineer Antoni Tomasz Kulesza, was completed with the blessing on 30 April 2006.
The mother church of the parish, the Church of St Sylvester in Strzelewo, lies about 2.8 km further on.
